Ok so didnt want to say til me and sara got it, but we decided to sell the bus, bug and probably the ratrod and have ONE vw, something kinda nice, driveable, and something fun. So now we have a THING thanks to craig, lol, ive liked them forever, but after driving craigs the other day, sara fell in love with them too. Well long story short, low and behold, there was one for sale on craigslist and we went halfers on it. Its in good shape, not too bad, just need a little tune up and a lower job, good thing is, we can drive it anywhere, anytime, its great, no more project shit and its both of ours, more room in the driveway, lol.

Bently loves it already

i know, ur thinking another one, but this one is legal, insured and drives, and needs nothing, not a project like everything else i buy, we like it, hope you guys do to.

No man, the orange bus is staying, i wont sell it, its my project car, so i work on one project, and the thing is what we will drive around til the bus is done, keep it simple. The rat will be going to my dads this weekend, and as soon as the bug is sold, the bus is coming home, and hopefully the panel will be gone soon too.

no prob jeff, glad to help. Well, might be able to lower the thing faster than i though, was at u pull it looking for a sapphire radio(which i did find) and i ran across a 70 bug. With fingers crossed i walked up to it and sure enough, complete 4 lug beam that wasnt bent, nice. After finding a few wrenches and a hammer, i was able to get it off after about an hour, hard when you dont have the right tools. I had to drag it what seemed like a mile to pay for it, then carry it out to my truck, whew, was toasted, but worth it, cant wait to lower the thing and put the sprints on it.

i came from the down at the end, lol

still had a ways to go, man thank god the rims were on it, lol

Well my rear tires came in today, 185/55's, so after the bug left i went and had all my tires put on, put the 165/45's off the orange bus up front, so i can run bigger front tires on my bus. I didnt paint the fronts rims, ill paint them after i get it lowered the way i want, but damn they look sick even rusty, lol. Got the rear switched to 4 lug, ill get the adjusters in tomorrow, and get the beam on, cant wait to see it sittin dirty on the sprints, what out now, lol.

man i love the fat lip on those 5 1/2's

perfect spacing, should fit in nice and snug, lol

i have alot of gap to get rid of, lol, wasnt going to SLAM it, but think it will have to be to fill up the fender wellsk especially up front, slammed with a rake, lol.
