Waaay overdue for an update!

Engine installed, new clutch cable, new throttle cable, new master cylinder, rear torsion reset. Bus is running and driving! Rear apron and rear hatch prepped, painted, and installed as well as the rear safari. Bumpers are also worked and prepped - just waiting for paint.

I blocked the whole bottom half o the bus to prep it for a re-paint. There were some chips and scratches, some color matching issues,and some places where I just couldn't take the body work flaws. With any luck I'll get the lower half sprayed this weekend and really be close......FINALLY!

Still waiting to get into the paint booth so keeping busy trying to finish everything else that needs to be done. Finished installing the three bulkhead panels. Also built my custom antenna to provide clearance for the Safari windows. I got the idea from Scott Moore over on the thesamba.com It's a piece of 1/8" aluminum that I bent using a brake line bender. Cut the original antenna, flare the post a bit and install. Looks clean and gets great reception. Too bad that's wasted on an AM radio. Sad
